Dear Students,
India is passing through a phase of ‘epidemiological transition’. There is an increasing trend in communicable and non-communicable diseases. Also, there has been a significant shift from hospital-care to the community or home-based care due to economic reasons.
Hence, the need for having human-resource trained in health-related courses like nursing, health care attendant, OT attendant, ambulance attendant and so on to adequately support medicos and paramedics has been realized.
